Actualmente estas producciones requieren de una mayor eficiencia productiva a fin de aminorar los costos ambientales producidos.<\/p><p>La utilizaci\u00f3n de herramientas moleculares para la selecci\u00f3n de individuos m\u00e1s eficientes en la transformaci\u00f3n de alimento en carne o leche y la utilizaci\u00f3n de herramientas biotecnol\u00f3gicas para incrementar su rendimiento reproductivo, mediante tecnolog\u00edas de vanguardia como la fecundaci\u00f3n in vitro, clonaci\u00f3n y criopreservaci\u00f3n de gametos y embriones, entre otras, son algunos de los desaf\u00edos que se enfrentan.<\/p><p>Esta l\u00ednea se complementa tambi\u00e9n con la calidad de los productos producidos, la finalidad es conseguir repercusiones positivas de la intensificaci\u00f3n actual de la producci\u00f3n animal y estrategias para garantizar alimentos de alta calidad organol\u00e9ptica, inocuos y que den protecci\u00f3n a la salud
